Eight is looking for a marketing intern to join our growing team. You will help the Affiliate Manager identify strategic partnerships, build awareness, and research opportunities for growing the brand.

Work alongside a talented team of marketers with over 20 years of combined industry experience, including a Chief Marketing Officer named by Forbes as one of the Under 30 power players in Consumer Electronics.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Identify potential partners to develop marketing partnerships, including (but not limited to) key tech influencers, blogs, athletes, and YouTube channels
• Create marketing strategies for promoting the brand
• Assist with development, analysis, and documentation of marketing projects and tasks
• Evaluate consumer-facing communication channels and critical client touch-points and make recommendations to improve representation of brand

What we are looking for:

• Enrolled in a major university or college and studying marketing, communications, business, or psychology
• Experience with Excel (i.e. creating charts and graphs)
• Detail oriented self-starter with outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written Understanding of social media and influencer landscapes
• Ability to handle pressure and work to deadlines
• Organized and capable of multitasking efficiently
• Ability to think critically and “outside the box”
