JOB OVERVIEW

As a Mechanical Product Development Engineering Intern on our Data and Device IO team, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Participate on a cross functional project team to develop new products

• Support innovation of new designs and identify and execute improvements

• Learn from a seasoned mechanical engineering mentor

SHORT DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities

• Utilize mechanical finite element analysis simulation software to predict product performance

• Assist with the test and validation of newly manufactured designs

• Provide product documentation such as drawings, application specifications, tolerance analysis, and product objectives

• Create concepts using 3D solid modeling software tools

WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE:

• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0

• Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship

• Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program for Mechanical Engineering or related field

• Classroom knowledge or internship experience with Strength of Materials, Statics and Engineering Materials
