JOB OVERVIEW
As a Mechanical Product Development Engineering Intern on our Data and Device IO team, you'll have the opportunity to:
Participate on a cross functional project team to develop new products
Support innovation of new designs and identify and execute improvements
Learn from a seasoned mechanical engineering mentor
SHORT DESCRIPTION
Responsibilities
Utilize mechanical finite element analysis simulation software to predict product performance
Assist with the test and validation of newly manufactured designs
Provide product documentation such as drawings, application specifications, tolerance analysis, and product objectives
Create concepts using 3D solid modeling software tools
WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE:
Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
Enrolled in a bachelor's or master's degree program for Mechanical Engineering or related field
Classroom knowledge or internship experience with Strength of Materials, Statics and Engineering Materials
