    JOB OVERVIEW

    Automotive Americas is offering paid summer internship for talented students interested in Engineering Project Management careers at TE Connectivity. Students from all schools and all backgrounds are encouraged to apply.

    As part of your 12-week summer experience, you will join a team and use your education, experience and creativity to make an impact. Our New Product Development Project Management Intern will get hands on experience in their field, exposure to senior leaders and opportunities to learn, network and have a good time - virtually or in person.

    Our Project Management organization is responsible for leading cross function teams to design develop and manufacture new automotive connector products. Our goal is to have the right product, in the right place, at the right time, for the right cost. You will work with teams in our Project Management organization as well as product and process engineering and other functions to ensure we are effectively collaborating and solutioning problems to meet our customers standards and timelines.

    Some of this teams' responsibilities include:

    • Manage cross functional teams through the new product development and product launch process

    • Orchestrate product launch activities in accordance with customer requirements and expectations.

    • Identify and improve areas of organization inefficiency for the New Product Development Process and the Project Management Organization

    • Report project status to our customers and driving issue resolution for NPD projects.

    • Work with functional managers on persistent and critical issues that are unable to be resolved at the team level.

    COMPENSATION

    Competitive pay commensurate with experience: $15 to $24 per hour (subject to change dependent on physical location)

    Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
