JOB OVERVIEW
This internship starts next summer, May/August of 2023
As a solar engineering intern on our Energy engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to:
Learn about the global solar industry, connector designs, industry standards, and testing protocol
Gain exposure to the LEANPD new product development process
Work with a fast-paced, dynamic engineering team
RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform connector sample preparation, execute experiments, and analyze test data
Create 3D designs and drawings
Support engineers with failure analyses
Summarize and present internship accomplishments and learnings
WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE:
Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0
Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, with an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline
Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship
WORK LOCATION
This position is in our Fuquay-Varina, NC office (near Raleigh, NC).
Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

COMPENSATION
Competitive base salary commensurate with experience $18-$24 an hour
Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
