JOB OVERVIEW

This internship starts next summer, May/August of 2023

As a solar engineering intern on our Energy engineering team, you'll have the opportunity to:

• Learn about the global solar industry, connector designs, industry standards, and testing protocol

• Gain exposure to the LEANPD new product development process

• Work with a fast-paced, dynamic engineering team

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform connector sample preparation, execute experiments, and analyze test data

• Create 3D designs and drawings

• Support engineers with failure analyses

• Summarize and present internship accomplishments and learnings

WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE:

• Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0

• Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, with an Electrical or Mechanical Engineering discipline

• Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship

WORK LOCATION

This position is in our Fuquay-Varina, NC office (near Raleigh, NC).

Monday-Friday 7:00am-4:00pm

COMPENSATION

• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience $18-$24 an hour

• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.

• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
