    Dolby’s Intellectual Property Protection group is looking for an intern to help with our IPP Data Strategy team with Data Analytics.

    Responsibilities

    The intern will be partnered with the IPP Data Strategy team members to conduct broad-scale data analysis on various datasets to identify revenue recovery opportunities, and to help identify trends of past engagements to assist in new opportunities of further investigation. The intern will also assist in royalty calculations, and help other team members with their data analysis needs.

    The intern may also be asked to support other enforcement activities conducted by the IPP team as needs arise.

  • Qualifications

    Desired Skills and Experience:

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Information Technology, Statistics, Accounting or a related field. The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Excel, SQL, Access, and other data analytic tools. Some understanding or experience around accounting and audits, is a plus.

    • Our team will help train the candidate on our corporate as well as IPP applications. Knowledge of royalties, patents, intellectual property is preferred but not required.

    • The candidate should be excited to learn and have an interest in the applications that are used to run the business.

    • Since interactions with business stakeholders and internal team members is a part of this role, strong communications (written and verbal) and the ability to work well as part of a team are key requirements for this role.
