    Dolby’s Intellectual Property Protection & Enforcement (IPPE) group is looking for an intern to help track and monitor unlicensed supply chain activity.

    Responsibilities

    The intern will be partnered with IPPE team members to conduct broad-scale data analysis and validation, gather requirements from business stakeholders, document, design new initiatives, and compare reporting data with audited royalty reports in order to validate if licensees are in compliance with their contracts.

    This candidate will also gain significant experience working to validate key partners within Dolby’s ecosystem by helping review third party supply chain compliance. There will also be direct exposure to Dolby’s third party contracted auditors therefore requiring strong attention to detail.

    The intern may also be asked to support other enforcement activities conducted by the IPPE team as they come up.

    This position is in Dolby’s San Francisco headquarters.

  • Qualifications

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Criminal Justice. A minor in Finance or Accounting would be preferable.

    • The ideal candidate will have experience with Microsoft Excel, and some understanding or experience around accounting, audit, and supply chain management.

    • Our team will help train the candidate on our corporate as well as IPPE applications. Knowledge of royalties, patents, intellectual property is preferred but not required.

    • The candidate should be excited to learn and have an interest in the applications that are used to run the business.

    • Since interactions with business stakeholders and internal team members is a big part of this role, strong communications (written and verbal) and the ability to work well as part of a team are key requirements for this role.
