    JOB OVERVIEW

    TE Connectivity's Administrative Support Teams are responsible for office administration and daily clerical duties including basic schedule planning, travel arrangements, documentation, and file maintenance. Other responsibilities include scheduling conferences/meeting rooms and responding to general inquiries. They create and maintain office documentation and files and review drafts and finished internal/external communication documents.

    As a Supply Chain Planner intern you will have the opportunity to work across functions to manage all aspects of end-to-end supply chain, from strategic planning to day-to-day tactical activities, which include exposure to Procurement, on-site production planning/scheduling and the Sales and Operations processes.

    WHAT YOUR BACKGROUND SHOULD LOOK LIKE:

    Responsibilities would range from:

    • Work SAP/MRP daily reports to assure customer orders are released timely.

    • Provide KPI tracking support thru performance of data analysis with the use of excel, Power BU, etc.

    • Work with planning team members to support customer expedites

    • Place production orders and purchase requisitions to support customer requirements as driven by SAP/MRP.

    • Work with planning team members to support customer expedites

    • Support Continuous Improvement Supply Chain Projects as needed

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum GPA requirement of 3.0

    • Enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, Supply Chain, Engineering, or Business is preferred

    • Currently enrolled in an accredited University or College for the duration of the Internship

    • Ability to handle simultaneous assignments and demonstrated perseverance

    • Experience in the use of MS Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Tablu, etc)

    • Interest or knowledge of SAP or other ERP systems (SAP a plus)

    WORK LOCATION

    This position will be supported out of Jonestown, PA with occasional time at the Middletown campus.
