The Tax Accountant will deploy local fiscal regulation and Corp. Fiscal policies & directives as applicable and relevant to Philips businesses in his/her region /country. You will manage tax compliance and tax optimization of Philips position in the country as well as provide expertise to Philips businesses and stakeholders on application of fiscal regulations in the region / country.

Your Responsibilities:

• Develop general corporate tax technical expertise as well as specialized tax knowledge
• Ensure timely and accurate filing of tax returns, including quarterly estimates
• Recommend and implement processes that improve the efficiency and accuracy of tax accounting and compliance related activities
• Conduct research and provide supporting documentation for tax positions taken on returns and for proposed transactions
• Provide support in the review of proposed and existing tax laws, regulations, and rulings

We are looking for:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance, Master’s in Tax is a plus
• 2-5 years of accounting/tax experience
• Certified Public Accountant (CPA) is preferred
• Ability to prioritize assignments and manage work load within statutory and internal deadlines
• Well-developed computer and system skills, including experience with finance enterprise systems and tax provision systems (ONESOURCE is preferred)
