    BACKGROUND & PURPOSE OF THE JOB

    The Consumer Market Insights intern will play a pivotal role in how Seventh Generations acquires shopper data and creates actionable insights to further improve the brand proposition of our green products.

    WHO YOU ARE AND WHAT YOU'LL DO

    In this internship you will have the opportunity to:

    Develop a recommendation on incorporating measurement from existing and emerging digital data sources to complement or replace elements of ongoing survey based brand tracking including but not limited to:

    • Volume and sentiment across social media platforms
    • web search term volume,
    • SVG owned site activity
    • online product reviews

    Upon learning about Seventh Generation, its mission and base of green shoppers. develop an understanding of what data sources Seventh Generation partners are already collecting through partnership and support from

    • SVG search analyst
    • SVG site owner
    • SVG customer care
    • SVG Email Marketing

    Explore approaches and methods being utilized in and outside of Unilever to capture or analyze additional data sources and those metrics relationships to Seventh Generation brand health or sales. Partnering and leveraging support from:

    • Trusted SVG Research Partner such as:
    • FRC Research,
    • IRI
    • Millward Brown
    • along with Unilever People Data Center and People Relationship Management resources

  • Qualifications

    WHAT YOU'LL NEED TO SUCCEED

    • Pursuing a bachelor's degree in business, marketing, statistics, economics, math, or another field and a passion for quantitative analysis
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
    • Ability to relocate
    • Must be proactive and self-driven and possess the ability to multi-task
    • Strong PC skills in the following programs: Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
