    This position is within the sales team at NYX Professional Makeup based in the Head Office in El Segundo, CA in Los Angeles County in a hybrid office environment capitalizing on the best of both worlds. 

    The Assistant Manager of Key Accounts is crucial in accelerating sales in our strategic retailer partners, Macy’s and Nordstrom Rack. Bother retailers are revamping beauty section and shopping experience with their customers rapidly acquiring online sales. Reporting to the Senior Manager of Key Accounts, this role an OMNI role focusing both on accelerating in stores sales and ecommerce sales for NYX Professional Makeup, a division of L’Oreal USA. 

    Responsibilities include working cross-functionally to drive sales, building analytical report, building OMNI retailer specific plans, calculating ROI, making fact-based decisions and presentations. This position is retailer facing and has opportunity for advancement. The sales team is dynamic, online to offline, customer champions, consumer driven, and beauty focused. We are anticipating continued strong growth on our brand and in this channel in the next year.

    Mission and defining characteristics:

    Sales:

    • Drive the business as key member, by collaborating with multifunctional team and leveraging all insights to drive brand growth. Maintains all reporting needed to run the business including sending weekly sales report.
    • Builds analysis of sales fundamentals in order to gain share at each account; identifies gaps and opportunities. Develops reporting for all initiatives and key opportunities. Example: top door analysis, new item and hero item evaluation
    • Category expert for the Brand portfolio and competitive products at specific retailers.
    • Enters WRIKE requests and shop orders.

    Retailer Facing:

    • Customer Relationship, agenda for calls, send new launches. Travelling to retailers.
    • Supports NAM with brand selling stories, tracking performance, and meeting prep
    • Manages all new item setup, discontinued items, price increases in retailer’s portal
    • Coordinating with Strat Operations on shipments for resets, new stores, prepacks and holiday

    E-Commerce:

    • Supports NAM on eComm objectives and growing e-share of business for category
    • Management of online content (Opera)
    • Continuously look for opportunities to improve SEO optimization with assets and copy on PDPs to increase discoverability.

    Forecasting:

    • Works with Demand Planning on forecast and feasibility for merchandising programs
    • Plans, Forecasts, tracks, and sends feasibility for GWP, PWPs, new launches, and merchandising

    Finance:

    • Forecast, track and coordinate markdowns and returns
    • Forecast, track and coordinate all GWPs and PWP ROI management
