    This position is for a core team member in the Hair category involved in multiple workstreams that are vital to the success of the business. In this role, you’ll handle business forecasts, agency relationships, core segments of the business and key customers. The person who will be successful in this position is motivated, engaged, and passionate about taking on lots of responsibility and being our partner in driving growth.

    Who You Are & What You Will Do

    The Associate Brand Manager, Performance will need to bring dynamic attitude and passion to:

    • Manage execution of all 6Ps for the brand, setting direction on how the brand mix is implemented in the US
    • Bring the consumer mix to life at retail through innovation & flawless customer execution
    • Leverage data to uncover powerful insights and growth opportunities for the brand, driving insight into action
    • Unlock fuel for growth through net revenue management, gross margin accretion, and by driving strong ROI on marketing activities

    Specifically, Associate Brand Manager, Performance will:

    • Work with inter-agency and cross-functional teams to achieve brand objectives delivering brilliant brand building marketing plans (including media, PR, and shopper marketing initiatives)
    • Support the day to day operations of the brand including forecasting, budget management, data and market share analysis
    • Lead special packs, gifting, and display opportunities for flawless in-store execution
  • Qualifications
    • You’re a born leader: You demonstrate strong leadership skills as you interact with multi-functional local or global teams and agency partners. You provide guidance of all brand communication and innovation development.
    • You’re a dot connector: You build cross-region and cross-functional relationships and thrive as part of a virtual team overcoming the geographical and cultural differences within key markets of focus.
    • You’re a story teller: You develop integrated marketing plans and execute activation programs. You lead the communication process and become the key contact point with agency partners and liaise with local teams to bring projects to life in the most engaging and relevant way. You provide brand equity and demand driver input to volume forecasting, financial updates, trimester updates, and operations led Fuel for Growth projects (SMART, WC).
    • You lead & inspire bold creative work: You lead and develop new brand communication toolkits by managing key agencies and controlling global needs. You lead brand innovation projects, partner in the launch management of innovation, developing and delivering quality. You set national level brand key performance indicator’s and channel marketing strategies.
    • You execute flawlessly, track & optimize: You work closely with the local or global Marketing teams to ensure consistent and flawless activation. You support the Brand Manager in delivery of innovation project across multiple regions on time and to Unilever’s high-quality standards.

    What You’ll Need To Succeed

    • Bachelor’s degree required, MBA preferred
    • At least 3 years’ experience in brand marketing or management required. Experience in beauty/personal care preferred
    • Proven ability to demonstrate analytical thinking, data-driven decision making, and forecasting experience required
    • Communications, corporate social responsibility, non-profit, or consumer goods experience preferred
    • Understanding of the US retail environment, direct retail customer experience and digital marketing and/or branding experience preferred
    • High comfort level using IRI/Nielsen (POS data) and Numerator (panel data)
