Your role at Clorox:
As an Associate Marketing Manager, Customer Marketer, in the Clorox Professional Business Unit (the B2B Business within the Clorox Company), you will have the opportunity to drive strategic initiatives with Leading Edge Customers (LECs) and execute programs that deliver on our Public Health purpose - to champion a cleaner and healthier world where everyone thrives. This position reports to the Brand Manager within the Customer Marketing Team, with a dotted line to the Associate Brand Director, Brand Engagement in the CloroxPro Studio.
In this role, you will:
The Associate Marketing Manager (AMM), Customer Marketing will develop Customer Marketing strategies and programs for the Clorox Professional B2B Business Unit (CloroxPro) as a member of the Customer Marketing team. The AMM will partner with Customer and Field Sales teams to deliver integrated business plans based on strong insights. The AMM will also lead planning and execution for select trade show events and conferences (approx. 2-3 events per year). The AMM must be a proactive collaborator able to partner closely with Sales, Brand Engagement, Product Management, and other cross-functional teams to drive Cleaning and Healthcare portfolio strategies and growth. This position requires direct interaction with and presentations to key customers and distributors.
Key responsibilities include:
1. Developing and implementing B2B customer-specific marketing plans based on strong customer and vertical insights.
2. Generating program ideas to drive business growth with national retailer accounts and distributor partners, supporting the Field Sales organization by developing sell-in presentations and materials, product-related informational materials, digital shelf assets, and collateral for successful launches.
3. Monitor and measure the accuracy, visual adherence to brand standards, and performance of these assets for future optimization while working within an assigned budget.
4. Support the CloroxPro Marketing Team to ensure consistent look, tone, feel, and governance of assets and templates. The AMM will contribute to CloroxPro Marketing capability building, including processes, software, and other resources.

What we look for:
People Management & Span of Control: Must partner with cross-functional employees, including Sales, Brand Engagement, Product Management, Insights, R&D Scientists, Finance, and others. No direct reports; must provide recommendations, objectives, and directions for partners when applicable.
Financial Responsibilities: Manage Advertising and Sales Promotion budget ranging from $200K-$1M.
Years and Type of Experience:
Minimum 4-5 years of work experience. Prior Business to Business (B2B) Sales &/or Trade / Customer Marketing experience preferred. Other qualifications include:demonstrated record of achievement, outstanding leadership skills, and strong analytical/problem solving abilities.
Skills and Abilities:
Education Level/Degree: Bachelor’s degree required
Previous Job Experience: Sales, Trade / Customer Marketing preferred. B2B focus and/or experience preferred.
Location : Local (Pleasanton, CA) preferred; experienced remote candidates considered

Based on the breadth of our ranges, most new hires will start at Clorox in the first half of the applicable range. Your starting pay will depend on job-related factors, including relevant skills, knowledge, experience and location. The applicable salary range for every role in the U.S. is based on your work location and is aligned to one of three zones according to the cost of labor in your area.
- Zone A: $104,100 - $199,100
- Zone B: $95,500 - $183,300
- Zone C: $86,800 - $166,600

This job is also eligible for participation in Clorox’s incentive plans, subject to the terms of the applicable plan documents and policies.
