    Customer Service & Logistics (CS&L) is where you’ll integrate our end-to-end demand-driven supply chain. Working “from farm to shelf,” you’ll connect plants with customers to deliver best-in-class service in the most efficient way. Your goal will be to have the right products, at the right time, and with the right quantity and quality on the shelf.

    PURPOSE OF ROLE

    The CPFR Analyst ensures Mondelez (MDLZ) products are on Walmart (WM) shelves when and where our consumers need them. The role is critical to developing a high quality relationship with WM’s Supply Chain team, and internal linkage between Sales, Demand and Supply to generate revenue while driving operational efficiencies. The WM Biscuit sales are +$1.6B annually covering +4,600 direct store delivered (DSD) stores.

    The CPFR Analyst is responsible for critical decisions and recommendations impacting both the Customer and Mondelez finished goods inventory. The individual must balance maximizing in-stock goals to drive to sales targets while minimizing inventory levels.

    PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES

    • Accountable for building and maintaining a collaborative relationship with the WM Replenishment team and WM buyers. Must effectively influence WM Replenishment manager, gaining support for replenishment policies that maximize product availability at store level, while minimizing inventory in the supply chain.
    • Responsible for meeting WM in-stock target (98.5%) at store level with no out-of-stocks at the distribution centers. This is accomplished by proactive inventory analysis using WM’s proprietary Retail Link system, identification of any forecast or in-stock issues, followed by implementation of action steps to resolve them.
    • Leads monthly collaboration 30-60-90 day process with MDLZ Sales team, WM buyers and WM replenishment teams to improve key linkage between sales plans and replenishment needs.
    • Uses judgment to balance risk of "over forecasting", resulting in high inventory levels, cost and waste, versus "under forecasting" and missing out on potential sales opportunities.
    • Utilizes Tableau dashboards and Retail Link data to provide analytical support to Mondelez Customer Business Team, and WM Buyers and Replenishment Managers.
    • Develops and implements on-going improvements for CPFR process.
    • Point person for operational execution of all modular (new item introductions) changes, working jointly with WM replenishment team. Creates execution plan and coordinates internally with account team, demand planning, supply, and category leadership to ensure a seamless transition to the new modular.
    • Responsible for integration into customer business team planning process on promotional planning and identifying gaps in customer & sales forecasts.
    • Communicates progress on key customer scorecard measures to all internal and customer stakeholders. Accountable for recommendations and action plans for improvements.
    • Provides input and recommendations for the collaborative planning process, integrating customer specific data for sales trends, new items, modular changes and Promotional performance.
    • Evaluates and presents analysis of past promotions. Uses this fact-based analysis to recommend changes to account team for future promotional activities.

    Accountable for collaborating with demand forecasting to insure Walmart demand is accurately planned in the Demand Planning Tool (APO):

    • Item Level Forecasting Template - "bottom's up" development of account team's annual operating plan.
    • Input to Demand - detailed communication to Demand Planning of all promotional and new item activity plans.
    • Period forecast revisions and 30/60/90 day forecast projections.
    • Item level deployment requirements for all promotion and new item introductions.

    Responsible for all Retail Link replenishment activities including:

    • CPFR events to support promotional and seasonal activity.
    • Ensures numerous Retail Link item settings are properly maintained to ensure appropriate store level product replenishment.
    • Recommends CPFR policies to customer replenishment team.
