Specific Goal/Project to be accomplished:

Activity 1: Develop a curved waterfall concept, which was previously identified as an Innovation idea for the organization.

The intern would be supported by a Mechanical Engr. of the department.

Key Deliverables:

• Produce a working prototype of the waterfall, supported with fluid dynamics analysis.

Activity 2: Exposure and mentorship in the following areas within the Engineering Department – 1 week each (time permitting from priority 1).

• NPD/Program Management
• Sustaining Engineering/Certification
• Electrical Engineering
• Document Control
• CAD
• Test Lab
• Mold Shop
• NPI at MOC
• Technical Services

Key learning/educational value:

• Apply design and fluid dynamics theory in the development of an innovative project

• Exposure to various disciplines of the Engineering department
