    Background & Purpose of the Job

    • An Image Analysis Scientist is generally expected to conduct the following work activities as part of a cross functional project team:
    • Build algorithms and capabilities for efficient analyses of data collected from various imaging and measurement devices.
    • Partner with research team and contribute to problem solving using algorithms in combination of C, Python or Matlab.
    • Leverage open innovation opportunities to translate data for insight generation and claim support.

    Who You Are & What You’ll Do:

    • With guidance from a mentor and manager, Image Analysis summer interns will manage one major summer project on their own. In order to do this, summer interns are expected to develop and validate algorithm for multi-spectral data analyses, modeling, automation, and holistic analyses of data acquired from various devices and instruments ex vivo and in vivo. Other responsibilities include interacting with team members within R&D to utilize the analysis results for technical insights and consumer claim.

    What You’ll Need to Succeed

    • Graduate with Coursework/Major in Mathematics, Computer Science, Biomedical Engineering, or Physics.
    • Minimum GPA of 3.0
    • Willingness to relocate
    • Ability to conduct an experimental program to generate relevant, high-quality data with subsequent data analysis and interpretation.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills
    • Able to work under pressure in order to meet project deadlines
    • Ability to work as part a team (both your own team and cross-functionally) as well as to think/act independently
