    Description

    The Murad Packaging team is in search of a detail oriented, enthusiastic, and diligent Intern. You will work directly with the Package Engineering team to assist in extraction of data from existing component specifications / from suppliers and entry into a sustainability reporting tool. Responsibilities also include day to day activities such as shipping requests and specification creation. This is a part-time, paid internship up to 30 hours weekly. 

     

    Essential and Responsibilities:

    • Assist in the execution of Packaging Engineering’s responsibilities for sustainability initiatives by supporting the below functions
    • Gather data from current component specs and suppliers
    • Input data and manage sustainability reporting tool
    • Support development team by requesting components from packaging suppliers
    • Create and update Packaging Specifications
    • Request package component function testing on new sustainable component types (will require on line time at co-manufacturers)
    • Assist development team by shipping packages to contract and component manufacturers
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

     

    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Strong interest in the skin care, health and beauty industries
    • Ability to think creatively and execute tasks efficiently
    • Proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook and PowerPoint
    • Must be detail oriented, reliable and able to meet deadlines
    • Package Engineering degree or working on degree preferred
