Dame Products seeks a sex-positive marketing intern for our rapidly growing venture. This is a summer position primarily for college credit.

We have a small staff, and everyone wear many hats.This means a lot of tasks to juggle, but also a lot of opportunity to grow. In addition to routine daily tasks, the right candidate will be given one or two big projects to own to completion, so they can brag about them later!

In this role you will:

• Report to CEO and marketing lead, and work closely with our various freelancers

• Assist with managing our social media presence

• Help discover and manage cross-promotion opportunities

• Pitch ideas for social promotions and contests

• Pitch blog content, and help write or edit posts

• Weigh in on branding and design initiatives, and help with production

• Work with our PR firm on journalist outreach

• Must be able to work at least three full days a week

• Must be able to commute to our Greenpoint, Brooklyn office

• Must be able to provide your own laptop

• Must be an undergraduate or graduate student obtaining a degree in communications, journalism, marketing, or sexual health

• Must be sex-positive, and comfortable discussing all things sex in a business-like manner

• Strong copywriting and editing skills, and a keen eye for best graphic design practices

• Understand (more than the basics) of Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and Pinterest

• Knowledge of Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop preferred

• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

• Hard working and motivated team player

• Must be able to lift 35 lbs. occasionally

Our first product, Eva, is a hands-free couples’ vibrator designed to deliver clitoral stimulation during penetrative sex, without impacting intimacy. Eva is available in flagship stores like Babeland, Good Vibrations, Pleasure Chest, and many others across the globe. We sell direct to consumer online, and fulfill orders through wholesale channels. We are a startup finishing up it’s first round of investment.
