A Mondelēz International Intern within the RDQI organization is generally a 12-week experience. An Intern position within Packaging offers a tremendous learning opportunity for students pursuing degrees in Packaging Science, Materials Science, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or another related degree.

During the Mondelēz International Intern experience, students are provided an opportunity to take a leadership role with assigned projects. A majority of the student's effort will be directed toward total project management, including packaging structural design, financial feasibilities, coordination and execution of packaging material testing in both laboratory and production environments and exploring new technologies. The Mondelēz International Intern assignment is geared towards providing students with real-world experience. As such, Intern may be responsible for running plant trials, presenting project solutions to cross-functional partners, creating samples, interfacing with external suppliers, selecting materials, identifying cost-savings opportunities and more.

Many Interns may have the opportunity to participate in training sessions with external suppliers and travel to Mondelēz International manufacturing facilities, distribution centers and other Mondelēz International R&D facilities. In addition to their primary responsibilities, students will be exposed to a wide variety of packaging processes, equipment, and materials and will work closely with cross-functional partners in Marketing, R&D, Operations, Logistics, Finance and Procurement.
