  • Responsibilities

    The Product Sourcing and Curation Internship serves as an on-the-job learning opportunity in design and sourcing.

    The position is intended to provide an individual with a chance to learn product/market fit, design and curation, sourcing from artisans in the developing world, along with getting to know the ins and outs of working in a faced-paced startup environment.

    The individual in this position will learn the tools and best practices necessary to assist in using creativity and research to design unique products, working with and communicating with artisan partners and producers around the world, while learning the logistics of sourcing.

    The Product Sourcing and Curation Intern will work closely with the Director of Operations (and Artisan Box Curator) and will participate in weekly meetings with the whole team.

    This is an unpaid position but course credit can be arranged.This can be a part or full-time position. Flexible work hours and an opportunity to work remotely!

  • Qualifications
    • Interest in product design and merchandising

    • Good understanding of and interest in consumer products and what’s on trend

    • Creative and flexible with a positive attitude

    • Interest and passion for social entrepreneurship

    • Excellent written and oral communication skills, attention to detail

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Completion of or current enrollment in undergraduate or graduate program

    • Product (fashion, interior, etc.) design background is a plus

    • Advanced research skills and fast learner

    • Visual Design Skills
