    Our Supply Chain Finance roles include entry level roles in Plant Controlling & Business Partnering. These roles provide for an excellent experience base to enable you to progress to Site Finance leads/Assistant Finance Mangers, Plant Controller, and Network Lead roles within the Supply Chain. Unilever also offers a wide portfolio of Finance career paths across the business in: Finance Marketing, Sales Finance, Treasury, Internal Audit, Strategic Planning and Financial Reporting.

    Finance Summer Co-Op Program Overview:

    The purpose of the Supply Chain Finance Co-Op Program is to introduce students to Unilever through a challenging and rewarding experience, which offers them the opportunity to contribute to business goals. The aim is to use this experience as a pathway to future employment.

    Supply Chain Finance Summer Co-Ops will join one of (14) Manufacturing Site teams or one of two Headquarter locations in the New York Metropolitan area. The Co-Op will interact across site and/or HQ department areas in assignments which will both expose and test their skills and abilities in Business Partnering & Controlling.

    In most assignments, the Co-Op will interact across functional areas to support an initiative that will bring a real impact to the business.

    By providing an integrated financial perspective on the impact of business decisions, the Co-Op is expected to make recommendations and influence decisions that maximize value for the business.

    Typical assignments could include:

    • Performing Balance Sheet Reconciliations
    • Cost Improvement Projects
    • Evaluating Control Risks and recommending gap closures
    • Cost Analysis
    • World Class Manufacturing / Cost Development-Savings Analysis
    • KPI Reporting
    • Waste Analysis

    Should a Co-Op join Unilever in Supply Chain Finance as a full-time employee after their Co-Op term, they will have opportunities to move into other Finance areas as well as into other functions at various points in their career based on their performance.

  • Qualifications

    The ideal candidate will possess strong team and analytical skills; strategic thinking skills; leadership ability; initiative and enthusiasm for work in an unstructured environment. A strong interest in finance, the ability to communicate effectively, especially as part of a team; and the ability to understand business issues outside of one’s area of expertise.

    • Current college Senior pursuing Bachelor’s degree in business and/or finance
    • Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
