    Terminix is currently recruiting for a paid 10-week summer internship program at our global headquarters in Memphis, Tennessee. The program has traditionally been on-site, but hybrid and remote arrangements can be discussed.

    For more than 85 years, Terminix has built a reputation as one of the nation’s leading providers of termite and pest control services, safeguarding over 3 million homes and businesses against all types of pests in 47 states and 14 countries.

    You will participate in a program designed to provide you with real-world experience and prepare you for an exciting role in a corporate environment in Information Technology.

    In order to be a successful intern, you will need to possess the following background/experience:

    • Current collegiate student with at least 80 Hours of completed course work towards Bachelors degree or higher
    • Demonstrated academic success (minimum 3.0 GPA)
    • Excellent communication & organizational skills
    • Strong technical skills/Proficient in MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint
    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Proven leadership ability
    • High attention to detail
    • Self-motivated
    • Agile SDLC Methodology

    Knowledge of the following beneficial:

    • Application Development Software (C++, Java, JavaScript, Angular, .Net Core)
    • Cloud Technologies - AIOPS (Alexa), Virtual Machines, S3, Containers, VPC, Service Mesh, DNS, Cloud Storage (Object, file, and block), and the various cloud networking technologies like Gateways and VPN.
    • Database management- SQL, ETL, AWS Redshift, AWS RDS
    • Analytics- Power BI, DAX, SAS
    • CRM- Salesforce
    • Agile Portfolio software- Jira, Azure DevOps

    ++Incumbent is required to have++:

    • Close visual acuity to perform detail oriented activities at distances close to the eyes, as well as visual acuity to perform activities at or within arm’s reach with skill, control, and accuracy, such as preparing and analyzing data, viewing computer screen and expansive reading.

    ++Incumbent will be subject to++:

    • Inside working conditions: The change of building environment such as with or without air conditioning and heating.
