  • Responsibilities

    The Analyst role is responsible for supporting various Indirect Procurement objectives in order to realize maximum benefit to the business.  The Analyst will work with various stakeholders and cross-functional teams across Brands and/or Regions on spend management initiatives.  The Analyst will support category-specific strategy development, manage data in SAP and other business function tools, drive portions of select strategic sourcing activities, and assist with building supplier relationship management programs for various categories of indirect spend.  The ideal candidate will be a highly motivated professional who possesses solid analytical capabilities, is a team player and learns quickly

    • Assists with facilitating the RFX process by Planning Launching, Analyzing and Negotiating the RFX process.
      • Planning –Gathering requirements from stakeholder.  Gather qualitative and quantitative requirements and future demand.
      • Launching –responsible for prequalifying suppliers, and makes recommendations on suppliers to include in the bid.
      • Analyzing –reviews RFP responses and then creates a side by side comparison to access the supplier capabilities. Evaluated supplier responses for completeness. 
      • Negotiation – assist the negotiation by providing manager and business stakeholders with summarized RFP results. 35%
    • Calculates, analyses and records savings for their assigned categories  15%
    • Owns data management.  Obtains data and provides data analysis, determines opportunity’s based on their spend analysis.  Runs needed reporting, such as spend reports, contract expiration reports, KPI reports, material group mapping; obtains supplier reporting.  Creates summary sheets based on reporting 15%
    •   Owns cost-based negotiations for less complex projects.    10%
    • Manages and maintains data integrity and quality in SAP and other procurement tool systems 5%
    • Calculates, validates and records savings.  Maintains integrity of the contract database.   Ensure accuracy of content loaded into Ariba database This is the primary contract repository for ELC. 5%
    • Creates, maintains and updates catalogs for SAP, for example, and the buying center .  5%
    • Manages the supplier onboarding process from contracting to implementation.  Participates in supplier performance program development and execution 5%
    • Responsible for  creation, cleansing and updating of material / service and vendor master data on an ongoing basis 5%
  • Qualifications

    QUALIFICATIONS

    • Minimum Education level: Bachelors Degree
    • Minimum Years of Experience: 2+
    • % Travel Time: 5%

    Additional Job Specifications (e.g., physical demands, working conditions, equipment/machinery, specific skills, etc.):

    • Microsoft Office, SAP Suite Applications
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Strong analytical skills
    • Previous work experience in a Procurement-related field preferred
