  • Responsibilities

    The Treasury Analyst will assist the Treasury operations team with banking administration, retail operations and FX rates as well as be able to back up the cash desk when needed. The Treasury Analyst will also contribute to the month-end and quarter-end close.   

    • Assist in the Global Banking administration by addressing all banking requests in a timely manner. Work with the affiliates and other departments to understand their needs and determine the best solutions for the company as a whole.  This position acts as the front line in ensuring that all requests adhere to company policies and controls. It also ensures that the most efficient and effective approach is taken, saving the company both in time and funds. Communication skills are key as the role interacts with every country we are in, while leading individuals to adhere to policies and procedures.

    • Interact with brands and retail operations for any requests in relation to payments. Assist with store openings and closures. Build relationships that enhance communication and support teamwork as the company continues to grow. Provide insight and knowledge regarding the payment processing environment. Bring knowledge gained back to the Treasury team thereby ensuring that we are providing any required action on a timely basis

    • Assist in generating and publishing FX rates ensuring that they were properly loaded into SAP; the Company’s ledger of record. Work with IT as needed in the event any rate is not properly loaded. Ensuring the accuracy of the rates is indeed critical as they are used in the calculation of balances having a direct impact to the company’s financial statements.

    • Prepare month-end and quarter-end reconciliations and reporting. Follow up and resolve any differences to ensure the accuracy of the respective financial statement balances.  Any discrepancy can cause a misstatement to the company’s financial statements. 

    • Prepare month end journal entries and assist with Month End and Quarter End close.

    • Assist with the quarterly audit compliance process (GAC). Gather all required documentation and approvals to support the current users as well as any changes made. 

    • Provide back-up for the Cash Management desk, which is critical when needed as it ensures that all wires and cash activities will be performed accurately and timely.

    • Assist with various requests received which may include requests from Audit, Senior Management and Corporate Reporting. Be able to research questions and provide support as needed.

    QUALIFICATIONS

    •  Bachelors  Degree     
    • 3 to 4 years of prior banking or finance and Experience with Retail and Online banking activities         
    • Ability to work independently and manage time, strong organizational and communication skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs.
    • Knowledge of Reval and SAP preferred, but not required.
