WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
Estee Lauder Companies is looking for an operations professional to lead in Distribution. The PADC is ELC’s distribution hub shipping across the globe as well as an online fulfillment center for it’s direct to consumer business. As a front-line leader, you will have an opportunity to develop the talents and capabilities of a dynamic team of 4-5 supervisors and 40-60 order and material handlers to meet and exceed corporate and personal goals. We are seeking leaders that are passionate about energizing and enabling their team to drive success in safety, service, quality, and productivity. This is an excellent opportunity to be a part of our automated state of the art multi-channel facility transformation, leading and delivering change across the supply chain. 25% - Manage the assigned non-exempt workforce (~125) with a focus on achieving daily productivity and accuracy standards ensuring positive employee relations
20% - Develop, monitor, report, and achieve annual, monthly shipping targets and order cycle times are met and in line with financial budgets. Monitor and document any variances to plan.
15% - Intrusively lead for environmental sustainability and safety through daily actions to drive a safety-first culture.
10% - Accountable for meeting/exceeding picking performance and accuracy, implementing accountability and recognition measures
10% - Responsible for inventory and warehousing of finished goods.
10% - Engage in LEAN and continuous improvement projects.
5% - Responsible for staging shipments and delivering service level agreement for online consumer orders in accordance with Company policies as well as State, Federal and International regulations.
5% - Accountable for maintenance and accuracy of data on computerized distribution systems (WMS, IPTI, SAP).
QUALIFICATIONS
Experience executing deliverables in a high-speed conveyable, direct to consumer environment (Robotics experience is a plus)
Ability to work with, and manage, partnerships with third party last mile carriers
Fosters a customer centric environment and develops solutions with a customer first mindset
Data driven mindset with an ability to analyze data through several different streams to drive the decision-making process
Strong execution, proactively seeking ways to improve personal and organizational effectiveness
Agility, able to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Builds collaborative relationships, providing clarity to team members and their role in achieving goals
Develops supervisory teams technical and leadership skills
