  • Responsibilities

    This role will be responsible for the design and development of a diverse set of learning materials to support the innovative expansion of the Inclusion, Diversity, and Equity learning portfolio. This individual will partner closely with key business partners to translate complex concepts into engaging and compelling learning materials. This individual will analyze learning needs, design, and develop blended learning solutions. This role will work closely to develop videos, storyboard e-Learning courses, structure simulations, and create digital gamification.

    Administration – 95%

    • Develops learning content using various modalities, authoring tools, and standard templates & best practices to include but not limited to eLearning, instructor led training, performance tools and resources, assessments, and simulations
    • Partners with internal stakeholders, peers, and subject matter experts to identify learning needs and understand the desired learning outcomes
    • Partners with external vendors to curate just-in-time learning experiences
    • Creates behaviorally based assessments and evaluation methods
    • Maintains curation cycles for learning updates and sunsetting content
    • Recommends and document project instructional standards and strategies, learner engagement strategies, and evaluation plan
    • Applies knowledge of instructional systems design methodology, rapid design/development methodologies, adult learning theory, research methodology, and assessment tools
    • Knowledge in diversity, inclusion, and equity is a strong plus
    • Basic video and audio editing skills are a strong plus

    Additional Tasks – 5%

    • Assist ID&E COE will all details related to the Global ELC ID&E Week and contribute to programming
    • Observe and participate (if applicable) in the ID&E Strategy process

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor’s Degree
    • A minimum of two (2) years professional work experience in enterprise-level organizations
    • Demonstrated experience in instructional, graphic, and web design and development
    • Demonstrated experience in applying instructional design methodology (ADDIE/SAM or AGILE)
    • Demonstrated experience applying adult learning principles and instructional best practices within an enterprise context
    • Demonstrated experience performing administrative roles in an enterprise LMS (e.g., Cornerstone OnDemand)
    • Proficient in the use of instructional design applications including InDesign, Camtasia, Illustrator, Photoshop, Acrobat, Articulate 360, Captivate, or Snag It
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
