  • Responsibilities

    Provides support to the Formulation Laboratory as it relates to Raw Material stock, supplies, and sample component filling. Follows guidance from lab manager on maintaining general housekeeping.

     

    • 30% - General Housekeeping -  Individual is required to perform general housekeeping duties inside the lab including but not limited to ensuring all supplies are properly stored; mass pails are transferred for storage; lab benches are cleaned.  Individual is responsible to report all spills are (hazardous and non hazardous). 
    • 20% - Responsible for ensuring that the lab is stocked with required common chemicals. Maintains efficient inventory within the lab.  Individual is the point person for ordering all RAW MATERIALS.This function requires interaction and communication with all formulators within the lab they work to ensure their individual formulators needs are met.
    • 20% - Responsible for initiating the request for storage and request for retrieval on ALL finished mass, retains and components. This responsibility includes working with Warehouse staff and learning and understanding the storage and retrieval process.
    • 10% - Individual may be required to retrieve place and retrieve samples from stability chambers; deliver samples to support testing labs; and deliver to shipping department.
    • 5% - Provides support to formulation team within the lab to pull required generic components for daily needs.  This also includes initiating all purchase requests for finished good components or finished goods through R&D Operations.
    • 5% - Maintain adequate supply of general lab supplies including but not limited to: paper towels, tissues, hand soap, pH buffer, beakers, utensils, etc.  
    • 5% - Lab liason for the RP Beaker Washers - Individual would be required to ensure that beakers and utensils are properly cleaned and would work with the R&D Operations Supervisors to resolve any issues.
    • 5% - Responsible for Safety Eyewash weekly checks & other duties as assigned
  • Qualifications
    • Excellent communication skills required, must be able to read and write English. 
    • Must be multi-task oriented. 
    • Individual would be trained on use of the RDS System. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office. 
    • Must maintain a good attendance record.  
    • High School Diploma or Equivalent
