Position Summary
The Manager of Trade Marketing Salons is responsible for leading, planning and execution of NA marketing program for Aveda Salon Partners as well as providing marketing support for Third Party Distributors, Military and QVC. This role partners and aligns with leadership on strategic recommendations and key GTM plans.
Key Roles and Responsiblities
Collaborate closely with cross functional teams (online, FSS and account management) to foster strong partnerships and strategically plan the annual activation calendars that drive salon/3PD/QVC sales
Partners with the DTC account leads (FSS, Online, Omni DTC) 3PD and the marketing teams to support launches, programming, and business optimization
Develop, communicate and execute promotional campaigns to drive traffic salon locations with a focus on sell-through
Ensure creative messaging, collateral and animation are adapted for effectiveness within the salon environment
Review and adjust professional treatment strategies for maximum impact within Salon locations
Effectively communicate execution strategies including in-location guest experiences, stylist engagement activities and field execution tools
Supports the seasonal Planning Meetings, coordinating seasonal information within presentations, in partnership with Marketing and account lead
Assist with product and category planning, including limited life, discontinuation and out of stock management
Present and communicate marketing strategies and results by channel (salon, 3PD, Military and QVC) to key stakeholders as needed
Exhibits strong understanding of all drivers of business performance to consistently help optimize execution and formulate action plans on how to accelerate.
QUALIFICATIONS
5+ years marketing related experience
College Degree with focus on Marketing, salon experience
Strong oral and written communication skills, as well as a high-degree of internal and external collaboration capabilities
Strong project & process management skills
Entrepreneurial spirit with a bias for speed and efficiency, while maintaining attention to detail and flawless follow-through
Able to think strategically to conceptualize and implement new ideas for retail success
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, natural dot-connector
Strong collaboration skills and ability to work with others and drive a timeline
Able to identify, prioritize and adjust according to business needs
Adept at pivoting and being agile in challenging environments
Premium hair category experience or beauty experience and multi-channel of distribution (department store, DTC)
