    POSITION SUMMARY:

    The FINANCE MANAGER, TOO FACED COSMETICS is a key role within the West Coast cluster Finance team. Reporting to the Director – Finance Too Faced Cosmetics, the role supports financial analysis and execution of key initiatives with significant financial outcomes to support transformation and the long term sustainable, profitable growth across the cluster. The role supports the Director – Finance Too Faced Cosmetics in driving initiatives holistically, connecting dots and identifying opportunities for streamlining, leverage, and efficiencies across the cluster.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Long Range Financial planning: Support the LRP process with specific insight on the financial impact of Key Initiatives (e.g., Gross to Net, COGs, China, Makeup Recovery, A&P Effectiveness).

    • Short Term financial management: Evaluate and socialize the financial impacts of key line items within the Plan/LE time horizon. Collaborate across the business to leverage data sources and insights available in ELC CoE’s and integrate these insights into the cluster initiatives.

    • Financial Strategy, Innovation, Projects: Under direction from Director – Finance West Coast, support financial strategy and execution through the Annual Planning and LRP process. Support financial aspects of Innovation and Portfolio optimization in partnership with Marketing and Supply Chain to define innovation financial goals and deliver against them.

    • Continuous Improvement: Support West Coast Finance leadership in finding efficiencies, and establishing consistent, fit for purpose processes across the West Coast cluster.

    • Insights and Analytics: Drive insights and actions by analyzing market, consumer, and financial data.

    SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES / INITIATIVES:

    • Support development of annual Brand Strategy and Budget presentations: evaluate investment choices based on both brand equity and financial impact with a goal of creating long-term value for the business.

    • Support Innovation Strategy and Innovation Portfolio: optimization where appropriate.

    • Conduct monthly reviews with operating partners: identify trends, explain variances, track risks and opportunities, highlight issues and address problems to drive proactive financial management and enable delivery of quarterly and annual commitments/plans.

    • Interact cross-functionally with Product Development, Marketing, Consumer Engagement, Education, Supply Chain, Demand Planning: to understand drivers of end-to-end operations, conduct integrated planning and business analyses, and facilitate problem solving and P&L resource allocation to drive high ROI and value creation.

    • Drive insights and actions by analyzing market, consumer, and financial data: derive improved methodology to track advertising & promotion effectiveness, new launch assessment, pre- and post-mortem ROI.

    • Closely collaborate with regional finance and business counterparts: drive consistency and implement best practices in financial planning and reporting processes across the regions.

    • Drive financial considerations in decision-making: framework to improve profitability and capital efficiency.

    • Prepare ad hoc financial analyses and strategic presentations as needed.

    • Support other ad hoc projects as needed: such as contract renegotiations and Investor Relations requests.

    KEY INITIATIVES:

    • Cost of goods reduction (Eagle)

    • China business case / model, and business partner support to International VP

    • Org Design costs (Eagle)

    • A&P Effectiveness / Sufficiency (Eagle)

    • Post integration process adoption

    • Pricing tracking and identify opportunities

    • Make up Recovery tracking / interface with Transformation

    • Gross to net reduction

    • Strategy tracking and outcome measurement (in collaboration with COS)

    QUALIFICATIONS:

    • 3+ years related FP&A experience in a fast-paced commercial environment.

    • Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional, matrixed environment. 

    • Strong analytical capability. 

    • Execution focused, whilst managing multiple priorities.
