    The Retail Talent Acquisition Associate is responsible for leading the candidate experience for Retail recruitment across ELC’s portfolio of brands, in alignment with ELC’s vision of becoming the "best home for talent."  You will also work on strategic projects supporting talent pipeline, diversity initiatives, global talent sharing, recruiting effectiveness, process improvements, etc.

    WHAT SKILLS WILL YOU APPLY IN THIS ROLE?

    COLLABORATION

    • Works independently, collaborating directly with Hiring Managers/Business Leaders and HR Business Partners to provide effective and consultative recruitment support and solutions for positions across areas of the Retail function and levels (primarily Store Manager level and below).

    • Cultivate and maintain ongoing strong working relationships with the HR business partners to understand the business, workforce planning strategies, recruitment needs and to create a partnership that ensures a seamless hiring process. 

    • Proactively work to strengthen the diverse talent pipelines leveraging traditional and progressive methods to identify and source passive talent

    • Participate and lead team meetings by sharing best practices, winning strategies, and talent sharing

    PROBLEM SOLVING

    • Leverage various recruiting strategies to attract talent including events and conferences.  Build industry relationships to drive referrals.

    • Maintain awareness of industry news, activity and trends impacting talent sourcing and hiring dynamics.

    • Leverage insights to drive strategic decisions regarding sourcing, diversity, compensation, etc.

    • Help to identify disruptive solutions for recruiting

    • Educate internal client groups to ensure understanding for seamless recruitment processes and experiences

    DECISION MAKING

    • Help to develop and deploy use of candidate generation tools for internal and external candidate pipelines (campus, digital/social, newsletters etc.), in alignment with ELC’s talent strategy.

    • Source and screen candidates leveraging behavioral interview questions. Advance appropriate candidates through interview process and provide a point of view to hiring stakeholders. Document relevant information to Applicant Tracking System. Ensure decisions are made and communicated in a timely manner.

    • Leverage market data and other reporting capabilities to influence business leaders.

    INDEPENDENCE OF ACTION AND ACCOUNTABILITY

    • Strive to seize on opportunities to offer input towards incremental decisions that align talent acquisition with the overall vision and strategy of the Talent COE and HR.

    • Participate in strategic projects.

    • Ability to manage schedule in a work from home environment

    QUALIFICATIONS

    WHAT EXPERIENCES WILL ENABLE YOU TO SHINE IN THIS ROLE?

    • Minimum 2 years recruitment or related experience ideally within beauty, luxury retail or consumer packaged goods industries, is preferred.

    • Advanced recruiting skills including, but not limited to sourcing, qualifying, networking, job analysis, negotiations, and relationship management. 

    • Proficiency with Applicant Tracking Systems (Taleo preferred), Microsoft Office tools, CRM tools, etc.

    • Clear and concise written and verbal communication skills including presentation capability

    • Strong relationship building, negotiation, and interpersonal skills

    • Ability to consultant stakeholders and provide a point of view with all levels of staff and management. 

    • Demonstrated ability to manage ambiguity, take risks, champion, and influence change

    • Incredible ability to stay organized and pay attention to detail

    • Passionate about the beauty industry, and have appreciation for providing a high touch service
