    Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Software- Data Analysis or Engineer Software- Data Analysis. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Chandler, AZ.

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Launch Vehicles Business.

    An Associate Software Data Analysis Engineer or Engineer Software- Data Analysis designs, develops, documents, tests and debugs applications software and systems that contain logical and mathematical solutions. Conducts multidisciplinary research and collaborates with equipment designers and/or hardware engineers in the planning, design, development, and utilization of electronic data processing systems for product and commercial software. Determines computer user needs; analyzes system capabilities to resolve problems on program intent, output requirements, input data acquisition, programming techniques and controls; prepares operating instructions; designs and develops compilers and assemblers, utility programs, and operating systems. Ensures software standards are met.

    As a member of the Launch Vehicles Data Analysis Team, you will have the opportunity to contribute to Northrop Grumman's Data Analysis Toolset. You will also support Launch Vehicle programs directly with various tasks related to telemetry data analysis. The Team Member shall be a self-motivated python developer who is experienced in and will be responsible for the development of Python based Data Analysis desktop applications, Web-based forms, and supporting databases. As a member of the team, you will:

    • Work in a highly collaborative environment.
    • Work closely with other team members and stakeholders to determine application features, processes, and tool usage.
    • Support integration and deployment of applications.
    • Support Epic, Story, and Task creation, refinement, implementation, and testing.
    • Contribute to Peer Reviews and/or pair programming.
    • Collaborate on Agile Process Improvement, DevOps Pipeline Improvement, Web-App Architecture, and Technology Stack.

    The team member will utilize some of following tools and technologies to support all phases of the software development lifecycle:

    • Python
    • PyQT
    • JavaScript
    • HTML and CSS
    • Visual Studio Code
    • Git
    • Atlassian Tool Suite (Jira, BitBucket, and Confluence)
    • Jenkins and SonarQube
    • Windows and Linux

    Basic Qualifications for Associate Engineer Software- Data Analysis

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited institution.
    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field
    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
    • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

    Basic Qualifications for Engineer Software- Data Analysis:

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Master’s Degree from an accredited institution.
    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM degree (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) or related field
    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0 out of 4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
    • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

    Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.7 out of 4.0 or higher

    Salary Range for Associate Engineer Software- Data Analysis

    Min: $ 60,600.00

    Max: $91,000.00

    Salary Range for Engineer Software- Data Analysis

    Min: $73,400.00

    Max: $110,000.00
