    Northrop Grumman is seeking Business Operations Administrative Interns to join the Aeronautics Sector Intern Program. This position will be located in one of the following locations: El Segundo, CA, Palmdale, CA, or San Diego, CA.

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’sBusiness Operations Business Unit.The selected candidate will perform a variety of duties in support of functional areas such as finance, purchasing, or for a specific project/business/technical unit.

    As an intern, you’ll participate in a summer internship program to develop competencies in a variety of Business Management specializations that may include:

    • Gather, collect, record, track and be able to verify data and information from multiple sources.

    • Compiles, reviews and analyzes data.

    • Able to use software for functional area, to compile and generate reports, statistics, timelines, tables, graphs, correspondence and presentations. May design processes to enhance work flow.

    • Provide data and information to others on functional unit processes and procedures.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2023.

    • Be majoring in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Economics or related degree.

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

    • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2023.

    • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.

    • Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities,

    • interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)

    INTERN PAY RANGE

    • Undergraduate Degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $16.25 to $27.00 per hour

    • Master’s: $26.00 to $34.75 per hour

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
