Northrop Grumman is seeking a Cost and Schedule Management Systems Intern. This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Redondo Beach, CA. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Cost and Schedule Management Systems organization.
Essential Functions:
Support extraction of data from core Earned Value (EV) systems, Cobra and Project Server
Execute weekly validations for systems that utilize SAP data such as PMIS, Smart Db and CPR
Produce visualizations and reports using SSRS and Power BI
Attend development meetings with internal customers and support requirements gathering process
Team with software developers to create new and/or modify existing web based EV applications
Participate in the testing of applications to ensure usability, quality and customer satisfaction
Basic Qualifications for a Cost and Schedule Management Systems Intern:
A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:
Be enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university AND graduating after August 2023.
Be majoring in Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, Computer Science or similar major.
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)
Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during summer 2023.
Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
Preferred Qualifications
Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.
Previous internship/co-op experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular)
Intern Pay Range
Undergraduate Degrees (Including graduating students planning on attending/enrolled in a full-time Master’s program): $16.25 to $27.00 per hour
Master’s: $26.00 to $34.75 per hour

Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results.
