    NORTHROP GRUMMAN IS SEEKING SYSTEMS ENGINEER FOR AN INTERNSHIP OPPORTUNITY. This position will be located at our Space Systems Sector in Roy, UT. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

    A CANDIDATE MUST MEET ALL OF THE BELOW CRITERIA. THE CANDIDATE MUST:

    • Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university and will be enrolled full time in Fall 2022.

    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcripts must be provided at time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

    • Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during SUMMER 2023.

    • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher

    • Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher

    INTERN PAY RANGE:

    • Bachelor’s: $20.75 to $26.25 per hour

    • Master’s: $31.00 to $33.00 per hour

    At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay . Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
