    Northrop Grumman is seeking Antenna Test Engineers. This position will start out in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and the position will then be located in Waynesboro, VA.

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Test Engineering Team.

    What You'll Get to Do :

    • Antenna test equipment design in support of factory phased array testing
    • Integrate new equipment and programs in a state-of-the-art facility
    • Test software and test equipment design related to phased array testing
    • Software development for automating test processes and data analysis
    • Troubleshoot RF issues during test of advanced antenna systems
    • Support technicians with troubleshooting and training
    • Analyze test data and identify early trends
    • Support program meetings in developing root cause and corrective actions
    • Collaborate with design engineering for hardware and test improvements
    • Maintain sensitivity to cost, schedule and quality as well as Northrop Grumman policies and procedures

    The selected candidate will work in Baltimore, MD for approximately 1-2 years of training and then relocate to Waynesboro, VA.

    Basic Qualifications:

    A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
    • Be majoring in or having majored in Electrical Engineering or a closely related STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
    • Current, active Department of Defense (DoD) Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a Special Access Program (SAP) clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
    • Experience with electrical and/or RF test equipment, such as oscilloscopes, power meter, spectrum analyzer, signal generator, etc.
    • Professional software development experience using languages such as C++, Python, MATLAB, etc.
    • Software development experience with RF and antenna systems
    • Test development experience in a nearfield antenna range
    • RF test experience and/or antenna test/range experience
    • Familiarity with RF and antenna theory

    Salary range : $62,200 - $103,200
