    Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Configuration Analyst /Configuration Analyst.

    This position will be located in Palmdale CA, El Segundo CA, Redondo Beach CA, Emerado ND, Oklahoma City, OK or San Diego CA

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Aeronautics Systems Sector Systems Engineering organization.

    Essential Functions:

    The selected candidate will perform the following, including, but not limited to:

    • Performing CDM metrics on a weekly basis and supporting Program prep meetings.

    • Cross-organizational collaboration to resolve issues associated with reconciliation discrepancies across the As Designed (EBOM), As Planned (MBOM) and As-Built (OBOM) bills of materials including Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Global Supply Chain and Quality Assurance issues.

    • Performing Configuration Status Accounting (CSA) As Built reconciliation efforts.

    • Training experience in TeamCenter Enterprise (PDM), Systems, Applications, and Products (SAP) and the Manufacturing Execution System (MES) tools, understanding of Bill-of-Materials (Engineering & Manufacturing) and product structure.

    This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Configuration Analyst (A01) or Configuration Analyst (A02).

    Basic Qualifications for an Associate Configuration Analyst (A01)

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution.

    • Be majoring in or having majored in a Business related or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

    • Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

    • Excellent technical writing skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively team with multiple organizational disciplines.

    • Candidates must have a proficient knowledge of MS Office applications.

    Basic Qualifications for a Configuration Analyst (A02)

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of engineering experience.

    • Be majoring in or having majored in a Business related or STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.

    • Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

    • Excellent technical writing skills.

    • Demonstrated ability to effectively team with multiple organizational disciplines.

    • Candidates must have a proficient knowledge of MS Office applications.

    Preferred Qualifications for both an Associate Configuration Analyst /Configuration Analyst:

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher.

    • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

    • Proficient experience in Microsoft Office.

    • Excellent organizational skills to include the ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines.

    • Prior experience in Configuration and Data Management.

    • Some experience in Manufacturing.

    • A principle understanding of EBOMs, OBOMs, and MBOMs

    • An active in-scope DoD Secret Clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).

    • Experience developing, evaluating or auditing plans, processes and procedures.

    • Experience with Teamcenter.

    • Experience with Aerospace Engineering, Manufacturing and Test documentation.

    • Familiarity with Cost/schedule/budget concepts and tools (EVMS, SAP, etc.)

    Pay Range

    • Associate Configuration Analyst: $ 59,600.00 - $ 89,400.00

    • Configuration Analyst: $72,100.00 - $ 108,100.00

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
