Northrop Grumman is seeking an Intern, Policy Analyst. This position will be located in our Corporate office in Falls Church, VA.

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Corporate Analysis Center team and have the opportunity to conduct research on trends in national security policy and develop compelling advocacy products that illustrate the value of NGC programs. The qualified candidate will be part of the diverse and collaborative Analysis Center team, where tasks could include the following: analysis of national security policy and priorities; writing reports on key subjects; and developing briefing materials for internal audiences.

Basic Qualifications

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be a student who is enrolled full-time and pursuing an undergraduate or graduate degree from an accredited college/university
• Be available to work full-time (40 hours per week) for at least 10 weeks during the summer of 2024 and enrolled full-time in school Fall 2024.
• Possess US citizenship

Preferred Qualifications

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher
• Majoring in International Relations, Political Science, Security Studies, or other policy-related field
• Comfortable working in a collaborative environment
• Strong analytic, writing, and presentation skills

Intern Pay Range:

Bachelor’s: $18.50 to $23.75 per hour

Master’s: $29.25 to $30.25 per hour

At Northrop Grumman, our internship pay rates are standardized and take into account three main factors: the anticipated graduation date of the individual, the cost of labor of the geographic location, and whether the internship is considered technical or administrative.
