    Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Engineer Electronics/Engineer Electronics.

    This position will be located at our Aeronautics Systems Sector in Palmdale, CA, El Segundo, CA or San Diego, CA

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Avionics Integration Group

    The selected candidate will be expected to research, design, develop, and test a variety of electronic equipment and systems, including:

    • Radar and radiation detection equipment.
    • Radio, television and other communications equipment and systems.
    • Circuitry components.
    • Analog and digital computers.
    • Control and test equipment.

    This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Engineer Electronics (T01) or Engineer Electronics (T02).

    Basic Qualifications for a Associate Engineer Electronics (T01)

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree.
    • Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security clearance (US citizenship is a requirement) and final Special Program Access in a reasonable period of time as determined by the business. Final adjudicated clearance and Special Program Access might be required to start as determined by the business.

    Basic Qualifications for a Engineer Electronics (T02)

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution or is completing their Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution and 2 years of Electrical engineering experience
    • Be majoring in or having majored in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) degree
    • Final approved U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite) as well as Program Special Access may be required to start.

    Preferred Qualifications for both an Associate Engineer Electronics and Engineer Electronics

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
    • Previous internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities (professional/community/extracurricular).

    Pay Range

    • Associate Engineer Electronics: 72,100 - 108,100
    • Engineer Electronics : 87,200 - 130,800.00

    Salary Range: $70,200.00 - $87,800.00

    Salary Range 2: $85,000.00 - $127,400.00

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
