    Northrop Grumman is seeking Industrial Engineers. This position will be located at our Mission Systems Sector in Sunnyvale, CA.

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Manufacturing Organization.

    What you will get to do:

    • Develop and maintain labor standards for material routings

    • Develop shop operating plans and metrics to drive cost and schedule performance

    • Define headcount/staffing requirements as related to production rates

    • Perform long-term capacity analysis

    • Maintain, model, and update production floor layouts

    • Perform data analysis to aid in return on investment (ROI) and improvement sustainment calculations

    • Construct manufacturing process flow simulation models and analyze processes and their behaviors in hypothetical what-if scenarios

    • Troubleshoot business logic and processes for MRP / ERP systems

    • Identify operations management issues and suggest solutions

    • Identify and automate systems to provide data to key decision makers

    Basic Qualifications:

    A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s) from an accredited institution

    • Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Math) discipline from an accredited institution

    • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)

    • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher

    • Knowledge of manufacturing routings

    • Familiarity with labor standards analysis

    • Familiarity with Bill of Material (BOM) and Material Requirements Planning (MRP)

    • Excellent Excel and data analytics skills

    • Tableau or other data visualization experience generating and publishing reports

    Salary Range:

    $67,400.00 to $101,000.00
