    Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Industrial Engineer (Level 1) / Industrial Engineer (Level 2) . This position will be located at our Space sector in Magna, UT.

    The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Manufacturing & Operations team.

    Roles and Responsibilities

    • Observe, understand and model the Least Waste Way with regards to full-spectrum capacity analysis
    • Positively impact the business by working with other engineering and non-engineering disciplines to eliminate waste and improve processes
    • Communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
    • Work collaboratively across disciplines to develop solutions with an emphasis on timeliness and execution
    • Design and implement processes to improve efficiency and flow throughout the factory and back office
    • Facilitate continuous improvement events to develop, define and improve processes in the forming and finishing of solid rocket motors
    • Production performance metrics and analysis
    • Special studies and projects
    • Create staffing models based on work content
    • Facilities and workplace design

    Basic Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications for an Associate Industrial Engineer:

    • Be completing or has completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
    • Be majoring in or having majored in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
    • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
    • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
    • Previous experience in manufacturing environment for any kind of industry

    Basic Qualifications for a Industrial Engineer:

    • Be completing or has completed their Master’s degree from an accredited institution
    • Be majoring in or having majored in Industrial or Mechanical Engineering
    • Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
    • The ability to obtain Special Access Program within a reasonable period of time, as determined by the company to meet its business needs
    • Previous experience in manufacturing environment for any kind of industry

    Preferred Qualifications for both levels:

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.00/4.0 or higher

    Salary Range:

    Associate Industrial Engineer: $59,900 to $89,900

    Industrial Engineer: $72,100 to $108,100
