Northrop Grumman is seeking Software Engineers . This position will be located at our Defense Systems Sector in Roy, UT.

This requisition may be filled at either an Associate Software Engineer (T01) or an Software Engineer (T02).

The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman’s Strategic Deterrent Systems Division (SDSD).

We are seeking an Software Engineer who blends strong UI/UX implementation skills with Python development. In this role you will translate wireframes and a company wide style guide(s) into production ready interfaces into mission critical GUIs for the Sentinel Program.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design Integration - Receive wireframes, mock ups, and the style guide from the UI/UX design team; implement them in a reusable component library. End to end UI designs and build production UI components.
• Collaboration & Traceability - Work with UI/UX designers, GUI specific teams, and hardware engineers; maintain traceability to requirements in IBM DOORS (or similar) and log work in JIRA. Collaborating across interdisciplinary teams (design, product, research, HW) and using Confluence/JIRA for documentation.
• Version Control & CI/CD - Manage source code in Git, write unit/integration tests, and support automated pipelines. Proficient with Git, Linux terminal, and test driven development.
• Documentation - Produce design docs, API specs, and integration notes for the style guide. Regularly authored research/trade study reports, design specifications, and presentation decks for stakeholders.

Basic Qualifications:

A candidate must meet ALL of the below criteria. The candidate must:

• Be completing or has completed their degree (Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD) from an accredited institution.
• Be majoring in or having majored in Computational Engineering or Computer Science.
• Be able to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.70/4.0 or higher
• Current active Secret Security Clearance or higher

Salary Range for Roy, UT:

• Associate Software Engineer (T01) - $63,900 - $95,900
• Software Engineer (T02) - $79,300 - 118,900
