Position Description

You will serve as an ACCOUNTANT in the ACCOUNTING DEPARTMENT of NAVAL AIR SYSTEMS COMMAND.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will review and analyze asset-related financial reporting processes, documentation, and data in Navy Enterprise Resource Planning System (Navy ERP).
• You will develop policy and provide guidance to NAVAIR stakeholders regarding both property management and financial reporting of NAVAIR-owned assets and related document retention requirements and business processes.
• You will perform analysis of financial statement information in Navy ERP to validate financial postings, respond to queries, conduct general ledger and asset module reconciliations, and research discrepancies.
• You will support accounting month-end and year-end close activities in Navy ERP.
