    DESCRIPTION:Aeronautical Engineer Associate in ADP Advanced Structures and/or Subsystems Installation Design. This is a multidisciplinary role. Design of composite and metallic structural detail parts, assemblies and installations, as well as, systems installations for aircraft.

    Engineer shall be responsible for:

    1). development of layouts, preparation of engineering drawings, planning, scheduling, and coordination of activities with affected organizations, 2). help in the preparation of work statements, quotes and (engineering design analyses) EDAs to support customer requirements, product improvements and cost reductions, and 3). support of manufacturing operations and customers in resolving technical problems related to the aircraft structure and systems.

    Candidate must be able to coordinate efforts with progressively less supervision across a wide range of functional organizations, such as Planning, Tooling, Stress, Materials & Processes (M&P), Reliability and Maintainability (R&M), Materiel, Flight Sciences, Test, Manufacturing, and other Design Product Focus Teams (PFTs) to ensure that designs meet customer and derived requirements.

    Some travel and overtime may be required.

    • Ideal Candidate would have aerospace design experience with knowledge of configuration management techniques, drafting/drawing conventions, and aerospace specifications and procedures.
    • Experience with CATIA V5, Kinematics, Electrical, FiberSim, is a plus.
    • Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Project and PowerPoint is a plus. Excellent communication, presentation, people and team skills and a proven history of strong work habits and a positive attitude are expected. Prior aircraft experience is desirable and considered a plus.
    • Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires the ability to obtain a Secret Clearance and special access.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • BS degree in Aeronautical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Civil Engineering Experience with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.

    DESIRED SKILLS:

    • Familiarity with CATIA V5, Aircraft
    • Design experience/academics.
    • Excellent communication, presentation, people and team skills.
    • Proven history of strong work habits and a positive attitude.
    • Adapts to fast-paced, technically challenging tasking.
