Position Description

You will serve as a AIRCRAFT EXAMINER (GENERAL) in the MRO PRODUCTION DEPARTMENT of FLTREADCEN EAST.

Position Duties/Responsibilities

• You will determine the condition of the aircraft and pneumatic and F/E components through various precision measurements, functional tests, and visual examinations.
• You will perform minor trade work to facilitate inspections and evaluations.
• You will review data to determine criticality of parts, cost estimates, and man-hour requirements to determine whether the aircraft or component should be scrapped, repaired, or exchanged.
• You will determine which components that do not meet quality standards can be repaired on the aircraft, which must be removed, can be repaired by less than standard overhaul.
