    DESCRIPTION: Applicant will serve as an analyst within the Manufacturing & Systems Technology department assigned to work Model Based Enterprise initiatives. Engaged in the development, validation, implementation and execution of data interoperability processing for complex manufacturing systems and interface applications. Applicant will operate on applications relative to information flow and adapting data intensive processes to maximize effectiveness within the domains of operations technology and information technology for Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) and Manufacturing Execution System (MES). The systems and processes generally are computerized systems used in manufacturing to build, document and track the transformation of raw materials to finished goods.

    Responsibilities will include driving towards strategic initiative systems that function within business area constraints, documenting processes and detailed requirements which respect system capabilities or desired data connectivity. Review technical specifications and system development for completeness against detailed requirements. Participate and execute testing including iterative, integration, acceptance, regression, and acceptance testing. Contribute to deployment planning by ensuring program milestones and training content is in synchronization with project and program stakeholders. Provide post implementation liaison for Production Operations application users, multiple program stakeholders and system project management.

    • Complex Automated Manufacturing Systems operational knowledge
    • Understands Manufacturing Engineering (ME) Planning Processes
    • Familiarity with bill of material development, use and function within manufacturing
    • Requirements gathering for system development
    • Understands flow of information or linked processes between systems like ERP/MES/PLM/CAD
    • Requirements Gathering for system development
    • CATIA or other 3D CAD/CAM software

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing Engineering, Systems Engineering, CAD/CAM Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related discipline
    • Experience with Aircraft Manufacturing and Fabrication Processes
    • Experience with Microsoft office Suite
    • Must be a US Citizen or legally authorized to work in US as a permanent resident. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
