    Northrop Grumman is seeking an entry-level Software Application Analyst to join the Information Technology Digital Engineering team in our Space PMO office. This position will be virtual or located at one of our Utah sites.

    ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    As a Software Application Analyst on our team, you will have the opportunity to:

    • Participate in Agile-driven software development lifecycle using Scrum or Kanban

    • Assist current staff in building new solutions or upgrading current software following the software development lifecycle

    • Be given opportunities to lead projects, create analytics, build presentations, and present results to leadership

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    To be considered for this position, you must minimally meet the knowledge, skills, and abilities listed below:

    • Be completing or has completed their degree (BS/BA in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, or Computer Information Systems, or a related discipline)

    • Have an overall GPA of 3.0/4.0 or higher (unofficial academic transcript must be provided at the time of application by uploading the documents to your application or profile)

    • Excellent presentation and writing/communication skills

    • Self-motivated, willing to learn, and able to contribute to a high-performing team

    • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Have an overall cumulative GPA or 3.70/4.0 or higher

    • Knowledge of SQL Server, Oracle or other cloud-native databases

    • Leadership & teamwork capabilities, interpersonal communication skills, and activities

    • Knowledge of database query syntax (MS SQL, ORACLE etc)

    • Working knowledge of scripting languages (Powershell, Python, Perl)

    • Working knowledge of JIRA, GIT, Jenkins

    SALARY RANGE: 58,800 - 88,200
