    Northrop Grumman is seeking an Associate Regulatory Compliance Analyst (level 1). This position has a preference to be located near our Aeronautics Systems Sector in either Redondo Beach, CA or Melbourne, FL with a part-time telework schedule. This position can also be fully remote. The qualified candidate will become part of Northrop Grumman's Government Relations & Compliance organization, reporting to the Manager, Audit Liaison & Labor Reporting.

    Essential Functions:

    • Labor review and reporting
    • Audit support (e.g., MAAR6, Business Systems, etc.)
    • Indirect cost reviews
    • Respond to charging practice and policy inquiries
    • Interpret federal and state and/or international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes, practices and procedures
    • Implement policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that regulatory reporting requirements are met
    • Investigate and resolve compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.
    • May develop and implement programs designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies
    • May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations

    Basic Qualifications:

    Basic Qualifications for an Associate Regulatory Compliance Analyst

    A candidate, regardless of age and hiring source, must meet ALL the below criteria. The candidate must:

    • Be completing or have completed their Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution
    • Be majoring in or have majored in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting or related degree
    • Be able to learn/apply Cost Accounting Standards
    • Be able to learn/apply Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Be able to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance (U.S. citizenship is a pre-requisite)
    • Have an overall cumulative GPA of 3.25/4.0 or higher
    • Internship/co-op or other work experience, leadership & teamwork capabilities, and interpersonal communication skills
    • Strong Excel skills (e.g., formulas, pivots, lookups, macros, etc.)
    • Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards
    • Knowledge of Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)
    • DCAA audit experience
    • Aerospace/Defense Industry experience
    • Internal Cost Scrub experience
    • Working knowledge of Tableau and Alteryx

    Pay Range:

    • Associate Regulatory Compliance Analyst : $51,400 to $89,400
