  • Responsibilities

    DESCRIPTION: 

    • Contracts Core Organization; assignments will range from developing, planning and scheduling proposals, to compiling cost, schedule and technical elements from the functional departments.
    • Continue through the process with proposal preparation, contract formation, and internal approval to release the proposal(s).
    • Support fact-finding and negotiation process with the contracting officer and customer auditor. Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
    • Negotiate and administer the resultant contract(s) in accordance with LM policies and procedures.
    • General contract administration duties include maintaining contractual awards and modifications in accordance with the FAR, DFARS, acquisition policies, and unique customer clauses.
    • Ensure final contract documents are consistent with agreements reached at negotiations.
    • Candidate should be able to handle multiple assignments and achieve program goals and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
    • The selected candidate will be subject to government security investigations and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information.

    DESIRED SKILLS: 

    • Experience in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
    • Negotiations experience; FAR/DFAR knowledge; insurance experience; knowledge of conflict of interest rules and regs.
    • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
    • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both oral and written.
    • Should be detail oriented with the ability to see the big picture.
    • Ability to multi-task and work well in a team environment.
    • Experience in developing proposals and/ or contracts.

    BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

    • Bachelor's degree in supply chain, marketing or business related discipline.
    • Must be a US Citizen; this position will require a government security clearance. This position is located at a facility that requires special access.
