    Are you a thought-leader, transforming the workplace and beyond? Amentum is hiring a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Manager. The Diversity, Equity and Inclusion manager will provide leadership of our diversity, equity and inclusion vision and strategy and Employee Resource Groups that advances Amentum’s business objectives and reinforces our organization’s culture. This position reports to the Vice President of Diversity, Equity and Inclusion and works closely with executive leaders throughout the organization.

    Essential Responsibilities:

    • Acts as the subject matter expert on all matters relating to diversity, equity, and inclusion. Stays current on trends, best practices and program development within the diversity, equity, and inclusion field.

    • Be an employee experience advocate, representing and protecting this through all strategies and decision-making.

    • Shared responsibly to develop the employee experience, career growth, engagement as well as diversity and inclusion strategies, including specific communication strategies, programs and content

    • Establish and engage with Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) to collaborate on driving DE&I initiatives at the business level.

    • Serve as the main POC for the Employee Resource Group Leads, and Manage key components of ERG strategy and development, including:

    • Develop, implement, and refresh ERG policies, toolkits, guidelines, and templates

    • Provide effective guidance and coaching to ERG leaders and their leadership teams, ensuring alignment and integration of ERG strategic plans, budgets, and programming

    • Provide program management support for heavy-lift ERG initiatives

    • In partnership with the Amentum Communications team, assist ERGs in developing their communications strategies and ensure consistent execution

    • Provide framework and guidance for ERG membership records, budget, and expense management

    • Develop relationships with Talent Acquisition to understand their initiatives and ensure they are connected to DE&I and ERG related recruitment strategies, while ensuring memorable candidate experiences.

    • Supports VP of DE&I and Learning and Development team in creating DE&I offerings that cultivate impactful employee learning.

    • Supports VP of DE&I in partnership with Employee Experience and Talent Analytics Lead to assess and drive strategic improvements to Amentum’s climate and culture and DE&I programs.

    • Supports VP of DE&I in partnership with Global Talent Outreach Manager to drive strategic research and data-driven candidate attraction actions around Military, Veteran and Diversity and College recruiting.

    • Excellent interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills; ability to foster collaborative decision-making; and strong relationship building skills are required.

    • Assist with miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned.

    Work Environment, Physical Demands, and Mental Demands:

    Typical office environment with no unusual hazards, occasional lifting to 20 pounds, consistent sitting while using the computer terminal, constant use of sight abilities while reviewing documents, constant use of speech/hearing abilities for communication, constant mental alertness, must possess planning/organizing skills, and must be able to work under deadlines.

  • Qualifications
    • Bachelor’s degree and minimum 5 years of both strategic and hands-on progressive human resources experience in a global organizational environment.

    • Experienced HR leader with the business acumen, subject matter expertise in diversity, equity & inclusion programs, and a demonstrated ability to build trust and influence across all employee levels to enable cross-functional collaboration to support organizational objectives.

    • A minimum of 3 years of experience developing and supporting diversity, equity and inclusion, programs in fast-paced environment.

    • Position requires travel.

    • Masters

    • Ability to obtain a security clearance
