    The Whole Life Systems Engineering (WLSE) Engineering Data Management Department is looking for an individual to participate on a fast paced Engineering Team to provide guidance, support, and solutions to routine data management issues when they arise. The ideal candidate will have strong communication, teaming and computer skills, excels at attention to detail, and has a solid competency in project planning.

    The Whole Life Systems Engineering (WLSE) Directorate is responsible for ensuring our products are Safe, Reliable, Maintainable and are under configuration control. Our WLSE disciplines participate in the total life cycle of our products from conception to deactivation. The Data Management Department provides data management and program execution support to RMS programs – by pursuing synergies between the disciplines and enabling affordable, innovative, and effective customer solutions. This department will provide the foundation for timely delivery of quality data products to our program customers – and timely receipt of quality data products from our suppliers - through all program phases. We ensure data integrity and subsequent retrievability of such data essential to customers, business partners, and RMS personnel. Program unclassified data is managed in an Integrated Digital Environment (IDE), enabling real-time stakeholder access and collaboration, while classified information is managed in applicable program AIS'. In addition to data management duties we are looking for someone that can perform data analysis to turn data into information, information into insight, and insight into business decisions.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Participate in the coordination and administration of assigned data management activities relative to identification, control, verification and accounting for systems and equipment in accordance with contractual requirements.
    • Coordinate the introduction of technical engineering data and changes into the RMS configuration management process for an assigned program.
    • Perform analysis on technical engineering data items to ensure a robust, producible, and fully supportable product.
    • Review engineering data and coordinates delivery of that data to the customer.
    • Assist in the implementation of customer data requirements and review of contract modifications and changes.

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Experience working with a team to achieve a common goal
    • Proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
    • Experience with sending professional emails
    • This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. Except in rare circumstances, only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

    • MS Project experience

    REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR): Must be currently enrolled at an accredited institution and be pursuing a degree in one of the following disciplines: Business Management, Business Administration, or related degree.

    DESIRED EDUCATION:

    • 3.0 cumulative GPA desired
