    JOB DESCRIPTION:

    Electronics Center - System, Power, Analog, and Controls Department Intern Successful candidate for the summer 2019 Internship position will participate in analog design teams supporting primarily military programs through application of EE tools and design processes. Chosen candidate will be a team member working on the design, analysis and support of RMS electronics products. This may include digital, analog, power and/or mixed signal circuit card assemblies.

    U.S. CITIZENSHIP STATUS IS REQUIRED AS THIS POSITION NEEDS AN ACTIVE U.S. SECURITY CLEARANCE AS OF DAY ONE OF EMPLOYMENT.

    Depending on the individual’s area of interest and experience, responsibilities may include:

    • Participating as a team member in detailed circuit design
    • Functional analysis
    • Functional verification testing
    • Working with engineering and production personnel to troubleshoot and provide root cause and corrective action to design and process issues

    The chosen candidate will learn frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, concepts and techniques. Candidates will be expected to provide recommendations to a variety of technical problems of appropriate scope and complexity, working under general supervision. Successful candidates should expect to be immersed in a fast-paced, team-based, and challenging technical environment where an individual with talent and initiative can stand out and thrive.

  • Qualifications

    REQUIRED SKILLS:

    • Course work in analog circuit design and/or control theory.

    U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

    REQUIRED EDUCATION (INCLUDING MAJOR):

    • Sophomore, Junior, Senior or Post Graduate level standing pursuing a degree in Electrical Engineering, Mathematics, or Physics. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard. Cumulative GPA of 3.00 is desired.
